NOTE: The details of Candidates are likely to change on submission of proof of weightages as permissible under the PU rules. No weightage will be given to the candidates without the submission of relevant certificates/documents.


The Final merit will be calculated on the basis of the following:
  • 50% weightage of Entrance Test + 50% weightage of Qualifying Examination + Other permissible weightages such as NCC (A Certificate 1%, B Certificate 2% and C Certificate 3%) , NSS (1%), Cultural Activities (1%), Youth Welfare (1%) (maximum 4% for NCC, NSS, Cultural Activities and Youth Welfare) and PU weightage (5%) for Passing B.Ed. Examination from Panjab University as per University rules wherever applicable.
